White Oaks is a former gold mining town which at its height was home to roughly 1500 residents, with hotels, newspapers, a bank, clothing and general merchandise stores, and a drama club. The school, opened in 1895, is still in use today as a museum. White Oaks is also home to the famous “No Scum Allowed” Saloon, drawing visitors from around the U.S. and the world.

Well, they may be 50 or so that are there full time as residents.
