Great picture Milt. Is that the "High water mark- bath tub ring' over yonder on distant shore? If it is I'd guess that one day there is a small chance that some of these sites may reappear. Granted it is a very small possibility but its not unheard of.
Here in California we've had the same situation as Elephant Butte and as Roger mentions at San Carlos. Ours has happened at Lake Isabella and Lake Silverwood to name a couple. I'm sure theres more out there throughout the U.S.
