Going home

Well, it is a done deal.  The Missouri place sold to the first looker, at our price.  We have purchased an rv to begin the next phase of our lives in New Mexico.  The Missouri (misery) weather is literally killing me.  So, then, we return to where our hearts are and that life is possible without the misery.  The whole lifestyle here is just wrong.   We did what we were told, but do not fit the mold.Adios, misery.…See More

NEVER FORGOTTEN

Brothers in Dixie

Among us, there is a code.

We are those who will not waver;

And who will never surrender.

Who will cover the backs of comrades;

And will leave none behind alone;

With a patriotism as only has been known by the Confederacy;

Who will regard the needs of the many over the needs of the self;

Who will be selfless in conduct, exemplary in courage;

Who will be of steadfast character, never compromising principle.

Death is preferred to be faced

Than the boot of oppressive despots.

We are the brothers in Dixie
