Henry, you can get them from the usmint.gov  But they are priced way above their face value! $14 to $15 bucks for the half dollar clad piece (that's 8.33% nickel and the rest copper). Or you can splurge and go for the $1 Silver dollar (which is 90% silver/ 10% copper) but that will set you back $43.95 not including shipment via Pony Express. Sure is nice to look at while one waits for the price of a Silver ounce to climb
